Daniel Jacobs is an expert in environmental liability management and site closure who concentrates on remediation and development of distressed property assets.

With the business goals of clients defining where to start, Daniel develops and carries out risk-management approaches that make customized use of contractual, fiscal and insurance resources. His sharp and varied range of skills enables Frontier Environmental Management to offer clients environmental liability-transfer programs for brownfield projects with values ranging from $300,000 to $2 million.

Daniel’s career spans a diverse combination of technical, project-management and business-leadership roles. Beneficiaries of his expertise include industrial companies, developers, real-estate investment trusts and private-equity investors, and their legal or other representatives.

Before joining Frontier Environmental Management, Daniel was director of risk management and financial analysis for the ARCADIS Guaranteed Remediation Program, where he used evaluation, planning, negotiation and execution to turn business uncertainty into business confidence.

" Even savvy professionals can be overwhelmed by the complexities of contaminated real estate. Too often, these assets are viewed as essentially ‘lost money.’ We advise how to restore value by limiting risk, readying properties for sale, or both. Our capability spans legal, financial and technical considerations, then determining and seeing through the best course for each situation."
